Moon Time
1602 E. Sherman Ave. #116
Moon Time is a staple on every local's rotating dinner destinations. The relaxed, English-style pub has been open since 1995 and hasn't lost any spark since. The East Sherman restaurant serves up soups, salads, pasta and more, prepared from scratch daily. A house specialty, The Swimming Angel, features a Thai-style chicken on a bed of rice with steamed spinach and house spicy peanut sauce. We would be remiss without pointing out the famous Roasted Corn Pasta Salad is a must. Plus, the wide selection of microbrews, wine and inviting atmosphere makes this neighborhood spot a hit every time.

Satay Bistro
2501 N. Fourth St.
Known as one of Coeur d'Alene's top-tier dining experiences, Satay Bistro delivers inventive menu offerings with traditional Northwest cuisine. The warm, intimate atmosphere is the quintessential spot for date nights or any of life's celebrations. The menu is locally sourced, featuring filet mignon cut in-house and scratch-made gorgonzola pasta. The Stuffed Mushroom Spoons pack a punch, deconstructed with garlic, spinach, parmesan crisp, mushrooms and sriracha aioli. It’s even better paired with a wine from their extensive list from family-owned wineries to well-known producers.

Angelos
846 N. Fourth St.
For fresh, authentic Italian, Angelos transports us to Italy every time. Unassumingly located next to a florist shop on Fourth Street, this trattoria-style spot serves up an impressive menu of genuine Italian dishes made from scratch daily using only traditional family recipes in the kitchen. Ingredients are sourced in true farm-to-table style, or, even better, fresh out of Angelo's year-round personal garden. Don't miss the fettuccine al pescatore, crab ravioli or ribeye steak.

Capone’s Pub & Grill
751 N. Fourth St.
Coeur d'Alene's laid-back food culture fits right in with this long-time sports bar. Sports memorabilia hangs from every inch of Capone's Pub & Grill, which opened more than two decades ago. Capone’s operates five locations and was featured on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" with celebrity chef Guy Fieri. This local favorite dishes up from-scratch pub snacks, homemade pizza and a serious selection of beer taps. The World Famous Tommy’s Pastrami grinder is the house specialty, stacked with pastrami, pickles, brown mustard and provolone.
